Belwafa Mobility Ventures (BMV) is an independent practice providing automotive safety, engineering services, technical event support, expert consulting, and education.
BMV was founded to offer practical, experience-based support across vehicle engineering and related technical activities. Its work is centered on helping clients address real development, validation, event, and technical communication needs with flexibility and depth.
BMV supports clients in areas including vehicle crashworthiness, occupant protection, CAE model development and correlation, validation planning, test strategy, technical event services, legal and litigation support, and speaking or educational programs.
Through its Extended Team, BMV can also connect clients with focused expertise in adjacent areas such as thermal management, NVH, durability, and other specialized engineering disciplines.
BMV’s approach is built on technical credibility, practical problem solving, and the ability to tailor support to the specific scope and priorities of each project.

Jamel Belwafa
Founder & Principal Consultant
Jamel Belwafa is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Belwafa Mobility Ventures. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the North American automotive industry, with a strong concentration in vehicle crashworthiness and occupant protection.
Before launching BMV, Jamel served in engineering, technical expert, and group leadership roles at Ford Motor Company. His experience spans structural crashworthiness, restraint systems, CAE, physical testing, validation, regulatory and rating requirements, and cross-functional technical problem solving.
Through BMV, Jamel supports clients with consulting and advisory services in automotive safety and related engineering areas, as well as technical event support, expert consulting, and education.
His goal is to provide clear, practical, and experience-based guidance while building a flexible team, including independent specialists, who can support broader client needs.
Based in Michigan, BMV is available for remote and on-site engagements across the United States and internationally.
